Jesmin Ara Begum joined as District & Sessions judge on 21 November, 2024 in this district.
She joined as a member of 18th BCS (Judicial) in Narsingdi district as Assistant Judge in 1998. She promoted as Senior District & Sessions Judge in 2023. She obtained LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. from the University of Dhaka. She comes from Kishorganj. Before joining this station she worked in , Narayanganj as Judge of Nari O Shishu Nirjaton Daman Tribunal, Judicial Administration Training Institute as Deputy Director, Dhaka and Tanngail district as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Cumilla district as Joint District Judge, Netrokoa district as Senior Assistant Judge and Narsindi & Cumilla district as Assistant Judge. She received various training in and outside the country .
